 The Asian and Pacific Regional Meeting of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) will be held from July 7 (Monday) to noon on July 9 (Wednesday), 1997.  This meeting is joint with the Annual Meetings of the Chinese Institute of Probability and Statistics (CIPS) and the Chinese Statistical Association (CSA), and will be held at Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C.
