Chiufen Mountain City |

| Chiufen is a mountain city, which is built by the mountain. The architecture is special characteristic of its arrangement of space. Due to the limited space, the floor of one's house might be connected to the roof of others' houses. The outside stairs connecting two buildings is the only passage. This staircase is also a special scene on Shu-Qi road. Winding up the hillside, the staircase makes the local residents be close with each other. Walk down the staircase, we could probe the mystery of Gio-fen. |  |

Yehliu Special Scenic Area |

| Yeliou is the most remarkable of all Taiwan's northern scenic areas. The park is formed by a promontory that stretches 1,700 meters into the sea and contains a bewildering variety of rock formations. Erosion has revealed different types of rock that have been embedded in strata and have been shaped by wind and waves. From the end of the promontory one can get a truly spectacular view of Taiwan northern coast. There are plenty of oddly shaped rocks, fossil remains, and veins of colored minerals to satisfy the most fastidious tourist. |  |

| Tamshui Fisherman's wharf is the best place to view the golden sunset view. The currently planned water transport routes will allow us to get closer to the big blue sea around us. As vessels set out from the No. 2 fishing harbor in Tamshui, the riverside scenery shrinks into the distance and the shore's outlines become clearer, the bright sunlight revealing a scene that suddenly seems strange and awesome in its newness. Along the route, we spot the groves of mangrove trees, the sun setting over Tamshui, Kuanyin Mountain, and the tiny figures of fishermen along the shore, adding the richness of the human element to the scene. |  |
