The 2018 Statistics Week Taiwan is a joint conference of the
Academia Sinica Frontiers of Sciences and Humanities Seminar Series – Statistics (Taipei, 5th Nov), ISI Young Statisticians Regional Workshop (Taipei, 6th Nov), NCKU-ISI Statistics Workshop and Forum (Tainan, 7th – 8th Nov), and CSA-NCU-ISI International Sessions (Taoyuan, 9th Nov). The theme is “Statistics for the Next Decade.” We have invited distinguished statisticians including three keynote speakers – Drs. Samuel Kou (Harvard University), Helen MacGillivray (International Statistical Institute), and Yen-Tsung Huang (Academia Sinica), all of the Executive Committee Members and 7 Association Presidents/Representatives of ISI, and young statisticians to introduce the most emergent and challenging research topics in statistics and also discuss how to shape the future of statistics.
