❒ We appreciate participants' participation and contributions to the ISSAS Poster Competition. The winners of the competition are as follows:

❒ Poster competition winners will be announced, awards will be presented, and photos will be taken during the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 ISI-ISM-ISSAS Joint Conference (4:50–5:10 pm, February 11).

Eligibility and Rules #Rules

Eligibility

Participants must be:
- Postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, PhD students, or master’s students of the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica (ISSAS); or
- Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), India, or the Institute of Statistical Mathematics (ISM), Japan.
Each participant may submit only one poster as the first author.
All submissions must be the participant’s original work and comply with the formatting and submission requirements below.

Poster Requirements

Each participant should submit the title and abstract of the poster by Dec. 29, 2025. The poster and its description file are due on Jan. 26, 2026.
The poster should be in A0 size with portrait orientation (1189mm height x 841mm width)
Each participant should also prepare a maximum 5-minute English oral presentation regarding the poster. The oral presentations will be held on Feb. 10, 2026. The presentation schedule will be announced on Feb. 2, 2026.
Each participant should submit the 5-minute English presentation slides by Feb. 2, 2026.
Late submissions will not be considered.
The competition website will be available on Nov. 1, 2025. After registering on the website, each participant should submit their title and abstract, poster, and presentation slides by the deadlines listed above.

Awards

Poster competition participants are divided into three groups. Three winners will be selected from each group.

For winners officially affiliated with ISSAS

Funding becomes usable once the winner has completed one full year of affiliation with ISSAS and must be used by Dec. 31, 2026, for either:

Attending academic conferences abroad, or
Purchasing research-related equipment (under the name of the corresponding principal investigator).

For winners officially affiliated with ISI or ISM

Due to ISSAS funding constraints, winners from ISI or ISM will receive a special gift instead of conference or research funding.
