2023 Poster Competition

Congratulations to all participants in the 2023 poster competition!

A poster competition will be held on Feb. 15, 2023. The first authors of the competition winners will be awarded funding for attending conferences abroad. There could be more than one winner, up to five.
Eligibility and rules :
  • Participants should be postdocs, research assistants, Ph.D. and master students of the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica.
  • The winner should be officially affiliated with our institute for longer than one year at the time of the conference that the prize would cover.
  • Each participant can only submit one poster as the first author.
  • The fund should be used up by the end of 2023 at the latest.
Some important dates are as follows :
  • Each participant should submit the title and abstract of the poster by Jan. 13, 2023. The poster and its description file are due on Feb. 1, 2023.
  • The poster should be in A0 size (841mm x 1189mm).
  • Each participant should also prepare a maximum 5-minute English oral presentation regarding the poster. The oral presentations will be held on Feb. 15, 2023. The presentation schedule will be announced on Feb. 6, 2023.
  • Each participant should submit the 5-minute English presentation slides by Feb. 8, 2023.
  • Late submission will not be considered.
  • A website has been built for the competition. Each participant should upload their title/abstract, poster, and presentation slides to the website on the due dates.
