The Center of Academic Activities of the Academia Sinica provides decent accommodations inside Academia Sinica at a very economic price. It is intended to be a hostel place for visiting scholars and research assistants in Academia Sinica.

The room rates are NT$600 per day for single and NT$1,000 per day for double in 1997. There are also some discounts for long-term leasings.

There are phone service in each room and fax service at the information desk on first floor. There are also laundry machines available for tenants.
The recreational facilities and activities in Academia Sinica are all free to tenants of the center except the swimming pool. The center has a Chinese restaurant and a cafeteria to serve meals, snacks, and drinks.

The IMS Asian and Pacific Regional Meeting joint with CIPS and CSA will be held in conference halls of this center.
