Taipei International Statistical Symposium / 統計科學營/ 其他會議

The origin of Taipei International Statistical Symposium can be dated back to 1985, since then a serial of Taipei symposiums were held in 1990, 1993, 1998, 2002, 2007, and 2011. It is occasionally jointed with different international statistical associations, such as International Chinese Association of Statistics (ICSA), Bernoulli Society, and International Association for Statistical Computing - Asian Regional Section (IASC-ARS). The number of submitted papers was near 100 in 1985 and there were more than 500 participants coming from all over the world in the Joint2011 meeting. The Taipei International Statistical Symposium is now one of the most important statistical occasions, especially for statisticians among Asian countries, and will continue to make its impact in statistical and scientific community.
