      因台灣大學生命科學大樓機電故障，本研習營第一週原在台灣大學生命科學館四樓4B教室舉行的第一、二講課程，將移到中央研究院生物化學研究所103演講廳舉行。造成不便敬請見諒!

　　隨著基因測序等尖端技術的快速蓬勃發展，近年來各種生物基因體資料不斷快速增長，如何正確、快速地對這些資料進行各種統計學分析並取得結論已是生物研究領域上的重要課題，"2015台北遺傳統計研習營"將邀請在美國華盛頓大學生物統計系舉辦之"Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics"中的專家學者教授到台北進行相關課程的講授，各課程中透過講授理論方法、資料分析及結果闡釋等過程，相互交流及分享，共同促進並提升相關領域之發展。遺傳統計研習營將於8月24(星期一)至9月4日(星期五)在台灣大學及中央研究院舉行，共開授有六門短期課程，包括(一)族群遺傳資料分析、(二)數量遺傳、(三)數量性狀基因座定位、(四)基因表現輪廓分析、(五)人類關聯性基因定位統計方法和(六)基因體學資料之路徑和網路分析，每門課程持續兩天半。

The Taipei 2015 Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (Taipei SISG 2015) will be held at the National Taiwan University (NTU) and Academia Sinica (AS), Taipei, Taiwan during August 24-September 4, 2015. The Institute consists of six two-and-a-half day workshops designed to introduce geneticists to modern methods of statistical analysis and to introduce statisticians to the statistical challenges posed by modern genetic data. Prerequisites are minimal. Most participants take two or three modules. The six modules are (1) Population Genetic Data Analysis, (2) Quantitative Genetics, (3) QTL Mapping, (4) Gene Expression Profiling, (5) Human Association Mapping, and (6) Path and Network Analysis for Omics data.

The philosophy of SISG is to be introductory and modern, with an emphasis on high-quality instruction. This activity will be an extension of the annual Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG) that has now been offered annually in the US since 1996, and outside the US since 2001.
