2022 Poster Competition

Congratulations to all participants in the 2022 poster competition!

A poster competition will be held on Feb. 11, 2022. Eligible participants of the competition are postdoc researchers, research assistants and both Ph.D. and master students of the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica. The first authors of the competition winners will be awarded with funding for attending conferences abroad, and to be awarded, each winner has to be officially affiliated with our Institute longer than one year at the time for attending conferences abroad.

Some important dates are in the competition rules:

• Each participant can only submit one poster for competition as the first author.
• Each participant should submit the title and abstract of the poster by Jan. 5, 2022. The poster and its description file are due on Jan. 24, 2022, by 5 pm.
• The poster is A0 size (841mm x 1189mm).
• Late submissions will not be considered.
• All participants' posters will be displayed on 1F, Institute of Statistical Science from Feb. 7 to Feb. 11, 2022.
• The oral presentations will be held on Feb. 11, 2022 in the B1F Lecture Hall of the Institute of Statistical Science. Each participant also needs to prepare a 5-minute oral presentation in English.
• The order of the presentations will be determined by lottery on the day of the oral presentation.
• A website has been built for the competition. Each participant should upload their title/abstract and poster files by the deadlline.
