2019 Poster Competition Result

Congratulations to all participants in the 2019 poster competition!

A poster competition will be held during the ISM-ISI-ISSAS joint conference 2019. Eligible participants of the competition are postdoc researchers, research assistants and both Ph.D. and master students of the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica. The first authors of the competition winners will be awarded with funding for attending conferences abroad, and to be awarded, each winner has to be officially affiliated with our Institute longer than one year at the time for attending conferences abroad. The competition will be held on Jan 17, 2019.

Some important dates are in the competition rules:

Each participant can only submit one poster for competition as the first author.
Each participant should submit the title and abstract of the poster by Nov 30, 2018. The poster and its description file are due on Jan 6, 2019.
The poster should be in A0 size with height equal to 841 mm and width equal to 1189 mm.
Each participant should also prepare a maximum 5 minute English oral presentation regarding the poster. The oral presentations will be held on Jan 17, 2019. The presentation schedule will be announced on Jan 10, 2019.
Each participant should submit the 5 minute English presentation slides by Jan 13, 2019.
A website has been built for the competition. Each participant should upload their title/abstract, poster, and presentation slides to the website on the due dates.
