The past decade has witnessed an explosion of interest in social network analysis across disciplines. Joining the endeavors, Academia Sinica—the highest national research institute in Taiwan, is gathering leading scholars around the world to address current developments and challenges in the field. From statistical modeling to experimental approach, from small to large network data and from indigenous to global studies, the workshop features a diverse set of research presentations, hoping to integrate different perspectives and methodologies into a coherent understanding of the mechanism of social networks.
