National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Introduction

National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is near the intersection of Chungshan North Road and Peiping Road. It covers an area of about  3,300 square meters. The main gate to the hall is a graceful arch built in traditional Chinese style. The name plaque above the door was inscribed by the late President Chiang Kai-shek himself. Objects on display include a number of precious historical materials and works of calligraphy by Dr. Sun. The surrounding gardens are elegantly arranged with a memorial pavilion, artificial hills, and winding bridges.

Traffic (start from Academia Sinica)
  1. By bus: Take bus No. 212 to Dr. Sun Yat-sen Historic Events Memorial Hall (bus fare is NT$15). 
  2. By MRT (Metropolitan Rapid Transit, subway): Take bus No. 212, 270 or Blue 25 to Nangang Station (bus fare is NT$15) and transfer MRT to Dr. Sun Yat-sen Historic Events Memorial Hall Station (MRT fare is NT$25).
